Welcome to ME’s monthly Newsletter
March has been an exciting month for us, with lots of opportunities within the business. Spring is finally here, and it is reassuring to see some light at the end of the tunnel! 2020 has been a challenging time for so
many businesses and industries.
The recruitment industry saw a massive increase in the job-seekers market, with not as many roles available creating an oversaturation of candidates looking for new positions. Despite this, recruitment is picking back up again, and we are starting to see clients reopening and recruiting for new opportunities.
International Women’s Day!
On the 8th of March, we celebrated International Women’s Day in the office. It is more important than ever to support, guide, and inspire women in all industries, and at Medical Engineers we are privileged enough to work with inspiring women within the Medical Devices Industry every day. Thank you to all the amazing role models that guide women in engineering and technology, making positive changes for future generations!
Congratulations to…
Oliver Chapman
We would like to say a huge congratulations to Oliver Chapman who started his new contract in Leeds with Depuy Synthes working in their MDR team!
Depuy Synthes R&D is one of the leading orthopaedic facilities in the world, designed to stimulate innovation, communication and collaboration they are always working on so many fantastic lifesaving projects.
It has been a pleasure working with Oliver, and we wish him every success at Depuy Synthes!
Moore Medtech
We are also celebrating the amazing work our sister company, Moore Medtech has achieved this month. During the last year, Moore Medtech have been supporting employers who have implemented COVID-19 lateral flow testing programmes within their businesses. Moore Medtech have delivered bespoke onsite and at home testing programmes around the UK. Medical Engineers have partnered to provide unbelievable talent to make these programmes possible including clinical professionals and administrators. The Medical Engineers, and Moore Medtech Teams alike have seen what incredibly hard work and effort has gone into the testing programmes and without the incredible staff that were recruited for these contracts, the programmes could not have gone ahead, so well-done Moore Medtech!
